The Bubble: Karen Gillan, Pedro Pascal, and more join Judd Apatow comedy

The Bubble has popped online. After floating over to Netflix, the comedy has added Karen Gillian (
Doctor Who,
This is 40), Fred Armisen (
Portlandia), Maria Bakalova (
X-Files,
Keanu,
Funny People,
Shaun of the Dead,
The Tick) to its ensemble cast. Apatow will direct and produce the project and co-write the script with Pam Brady.
According to its description,
The Bubble follows a group of actors and actresses stuck inside a pandemic bubble at a hotel attempting to complete a film. The concept is obviously very timely, seeing as we re still in the midst of a global pandemic when many Hollywood productions continue to jump through hoops just to remain on track.
If you watched the Super Bowl LV you might have noticed a Jeep commercial. The spot featured Bruce Springsteen and at the end, a map of the US. However, something was missing. Just gone. Not there!
